4038 or 4087 and HANDLE ABEND routine does not gain control in CICS TS

Your CICS transaction abends with an abend 4038 and your HANDLE ABEND routine does not get control. In this particular case, the abend 4038 is due to your COBOL application dynamically calling a module that is not available; this could be due to specifying an incorrect module name on the CALL or the module might not exist. The HANDLE ABEND routine also fails to get control when you receive an abend 4087.

EYUXE0014E EYU9X### module not found after upgrading to new release of CICS TS

You install a new version of CICS Transaction Server for z/OS (CICS TS) but keep your old CICS TS environment to run in parallel until you complete your enterprise-wide migration strategy. You start your CICS TS CMAS address space and receive message EYUXE0014E indicating module EYU9Xxxx cannot be found.

SOS in ESDSA due to storage creep in subpool SMSHRU31 when using CICS Web Interface

You have a CICS region using the CICS Web Interface going short on storage (SOS) above the 16MB line. You see storage continually growing in subpool SMSHRU31. Your region receives message DFHSM0133 CICS is under stress (short on storage above 16MB).

Looking up prices for CICS Transaction Server for z/OS and CICS Tools

You would like to use IBMLink to check for the price or cost of the product. You are planning to upgrade to CICS Transaction Server for z/OS (CICS TS) 5.2, 5.1, 4.2 or 4.1 or to a new version of one of the CICS Tools. On the "Purchase/upgrade tools" menu, you select the "Look up IBM standard hardware and software prices (Price)" application. You enter the product number and the search results in a RC=4 (RC4) and message SMSG0028.
