CICS® Transaction Server for z/OS® (CICS TS) V3.2 IEA modules on installation, system management, and programming that include both voice and text were delivered earlier this year. Additional IEA modules on system management, programming, and technical overviews are now available.

PK59577 adds support for Java V5 to CICS TS V3.2

New Function (NF) APAR PK59577 adds support for Java™ V5 to CICS® Transaction Server for z/OS® (CICS TS) V3.2. You can choose to upgrade your CICS regions from Java V1.4.2 to Java V5, in order to benefit from the new Java language features, and improved garbage collection and simpler class sharing. PK59577 closed on 28 March 2008.
