Hi Everyone,

We have been (and still are) experiencing CICS drop outs for two weeks.

This problem occurs intermittently with no clearly defined pattern.  The error occurs while launcing a function in an on-line application (again no pattern) or by simply browsing a list of returned values by using a scroll bar.   Reconnection occurs after a few seconds.  Although it is not a show stopper it would be good to have this resolved as it si impacting a large number of end-users and it has become a bit of a nuisance.

The actual error message displayed via pop-up:

"The host machine has dropped the connection to this PC.

  The following error occurred:

  (7) TXServer ERROR (-4) - CICS Server no longer available in RECV DATA, Code = AEYQ

You will have to exit all applications on this connection and restart them"

Connectivity is usually restored after pressing OK to exit the message.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

S
